Lineup text messages: privacy

This page covers Lineup's text-message (SMS) service, operated by Accuio LLC dba Lineup. It is separate from this website, whose own privacy page is at https://runlineup.com/privacy.

What we hold. Your mobile number, the name your organizer knows you by, your replies to game messages, and which games you took a seat in. If you ask for a calendar invitation, the email address you give us. Lineup has no accounts, no passwords and no profiles.

Why. To run your organizer's games: to ask whether you want a seat, to record your answer, to tell you the lineup, and to send the calendar invitation if you asked for one.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is not sold, rented or given to advertisers, data brokers or marketing platforms, ever.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Who can see it. Your organizer sees their own roster and the replies people send about their games; organizers cannot see each other's rosters. Accuio support staff can see it for support and abuse handling. Replies are read by software to understand IN and OUT; no person reads them except for support or abuse review. Two providers touch the data to run the service: Twilio delivers the messages and Cloudflare hosts the software. Neither uses your number for anything but that.

Calendar invitations. If you ask for one, your email address is used only to create it. The invitation is delivered through a calendar provider (Google), which receives your email address for that purpose. That is not marketing sharing.

How long. While you are on your organizer's list. When you reply STOP, or ask your organizer or us to remove you, we stop texting you at once and take you off the list. The text of messages is kept for 30 days and then deleted. A one-way code of your number is kept so we never text you again after STOP, and the record that you opted in or out is kept.

Where. In the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest.

Children. Lineup is not directed at children under 13.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message. Reply IN to rejoin.
